Connect Avoma to AmpUp to import your meeting recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated insights. AmpUp’s AI agents will analyze your sales conversations to provide personalized coaching and help your team close more deals.

Prerequisites

Before connecting Avoma, ensure you have:
Avoma account with admin access
API access enabled in your Avoma instance
AmpUp admin access for your organization
Avoma API Key (see Get Your Avoma API Key below)
These credentials are required to establish a secure link between Avoma and AmpUp. Once connected, your data will be encrypted in transit and at rest, and synced periodically to keep AmpUp up to date with your latest meetings.

Get Your Avoma API Key

Before connecting Avoma to AmpUp, you’ll need to obtain an API key from your Avoma account.
Only users with Admin privileges can create and manage API keys in Avoma. See the Avoma API Integration guide for detailed instructions.

Sign in to Avoma

Log into your Avoma account with admin credentials.

Navigate to API settings

Go to SettingsOrganizationDeveloper.

Generate an API key

Click Create API Key and give it a descriptive name (e.g., “AmpUp Integration”).Copy the API key — you’ll need this when connecting Avoma in AmpUp.
Store your API key securely. It provides access to your organization’s Avoma data. Only share it through secure channels.

AmpUp imports meetings from the last 90 days during initial sync. New meetings sync automatically after Avoma processes them.

Connect Avoma

Navigate to Integrations

In AmpUp, go to SettingsIntegrationsAvoma.

Enter Provider Credentials

Click the Connect Avoma button. AmpUp will prompt you to enter the API Key you obtained from Avoma’s Developer settings. AmpUp securely stores this credential and uses it to access your Avoma data.

Configure Sync Settings

Choose your historical data backfill period (default: 30 days recommended) and select which teams to include.

Review Field Mapping

Review which Avoma data fields will sync to AmpUp and click Install to complete the connection.

Initial Import

AmpUp will begin importing your Avoma meetings. This typically takes 1-4 hours depending on meeting volume.

Team Filtering

Control which teams’ meetings are imported:
  1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsAvomaTeams
  2. Toggle teams on/off to include or exclude their meetings
  3. Changes apply to new meetings going forward

Historical Import Range

Choose how far back to import:
  • 30 days - Quick setup, recent meetings only
  • 90 days - Recommended for most teams
  • 6 months - Extended history for analysis
  • 1 year - Comprehensive historical data

Common Issues

  • Verify the meeting has finished processing in Avoma
  • Check that the team/user is included in your sync settings
  • Ensure the meeting meets minimum duration requirements
  • Confirm the meeting had external participants (if filter is enabled)
  • Verify you copied the complete API key without spaces
  • Check that the API key hasn’t been revoked in Avoma
  • Ensure the key was generated from an admin account
  • Try generating a new API key and reconnecting
  • Transcripts require clear audio quality
  • Very short meetings may not be transcribed
  • Check your Avoma plan for transcription limits

Disconnect Avoma

To disconnect the integration:
  1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsAvoma
  2. Click Disconnect
  3. Confirm the disconnection
Disconnecting stops new meetings from syncing. Previously imported data remains in AmpUp unless you request deletion.

Only Avoma users with Admin privileges can create, retrieve, or delete API keys. A regular user cannot generate their own key — an admin must provide it.
Yes, but we recommend connecting only one to avoid duplicate meetings. AmpUp deduplicates based on meeting time and participants, but using a single source is cleaner.
No. Avoma continues to record and analyze your meetings. AmpUp adds a personalized coaching layer on top of your Avoma data.
New meetings typically appear in AmpUp within 15-30 minutes of Avoma finishing processing.
